Asiah’s Oasis is a home where comfort, history, and heartfelt hospitality come together. Nestled in the quiet town of Irvine, Kentucky—just an hour from Lexington and close to beloved destinations like Natural Bridge, Red River Gorge, the Kentucky Derby, and Daniel Boone National Forest—our bed and breakfast offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.
Our home was built in 1880, and its historic charm is still felt in every room. Each of our three uniquely styled guest rooms reflects a different piece of Kentucky’s character, blending the warmth of the past with the modern amenities travelers appreciate today. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is homey, relaxed, and welcoming—just the way we want it to feel.
Asiah’s Oasis is named in honor of our daughter, Asiah, whom we lost during pregnancy. Creating this space became a way to celebrate her memory by offering rest, comfort, and kindness to others. Every guest who stays here becomes part of that story.
We are a fully gluten‑free home, with 3 out of 4 kids that can't can't have gluten, and every meal we serve—from breakfast at 9 a.m. to optional home‑cooked dinners—is prepared with care in a dedicated gluten‑free kitchen. Whether you have dietary needs or simply enjoy wholesome food, you can relax knowing everything is safe, fresh, and made with intention.
Guests can enjoy a variety of spaces designed for relaxation and connection. Sip your morning coffee on the front porch while taking in the mountain views. Spend the afternoon by the inground swimming pool or unwind in the hot tub. Explore several public hiking trails, or fire up the outdoor BBQ area, or take a short trip to the local ice cream parlor that everyone in town loves.
Children are welcome, though we do not allow pets, and as your on‑site host, I’m always here to help you feel at home—whether you’re a couple seeking a quiet getaway, a family exploring Kentucky, hikers heading to the Gorge, or travelers looking for a peaceful weekend escape.
